Since 1870 we’ve lived and breathed malting. With this passion and expertise, and by combining traditional and modern techniques, we create an impressive range of malted and non-malted products, including several unique and exclusive barley malts.
We have a wide range of malts suitable for brewing and distilling to provide you with the foundations for creating your next beer or whisky.
There is nothing more we love than talking to brewers and distillers so if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a call with a member of our team, please feel free to get in touch – we would love to hear from you!

We have the envious job of sending malt to craft brewers all the over world, but we seldom get to try the beers they make. As we celebrate our 150th anniversary, we wanted to experience some of the superb brews our international customers put out, and so we invited two of our Swedish customers (and their beers) to the inaugural BrewLdn Festival at the Old Truman Brewery in London in February.
Not only did we get to talk brewing with our Swedish friends over the course of the weekend, but we also had a chance to catchup with friends across the industry throughout the sessions. Mike and Colin ended up with no voices left, but we hope everyone who visited the stand enjoyed the beers and the banter.
A huge thanks to Fermenterarna and Apex Brewing for joining us with their quirky range of Fruit Beers and Hopped IPAs. Also, thanks to James Clay and Distant Lands for arranging transport of the kegs.
Finally thanks to the Chris, Dan and the team at BrewLdn for a great first year.
Ali from Ground Level Up came along to shoot some video of the festival. Check it out below.
