Since 1870 we’ve lived and breathed malting. With this passion and expertise, and by combining traditional and modern techniques, we create an impressive range of malted and non-malted products, including several unique and exclusive barley malts.
There is nothing more we love than talking to brewers and distillers so if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a call with a member of our team, please feel free to get in touch – we would love to hear from you!
We are pleased to welcome Neil Banbury as the new Managing Director for Anglia Maltings (Holdings) Limited (AMH). Neil joins AMH from the Canadian Prairies and is ready to lead our network into a new era as part of parent company, Richardson International.
Richardson International is a fully integrated agriculture and food processing company with diverse operations spanning the globe – including agribusiness operations, oilseed crushing, milling, food ingredients manufacturing, and product innovation.
Neil has dedicated his career to agriculture and Richardson, mainly within the organisation’s North American agribusiness division. His roles have varied from local positions to divisional management, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian and US marketplaces.
Most recently, Neil managed Canada’s largest network of grain elevators and retail crop input centres. And in 2022, he played a crucial role in integrating Richardson’s newly acquired US business in North Dakota with its Canadian counterpart.
Neil’s operational expertise and dedication to employee safety and customer service perfectly align with AMH’s values. “Malting is a fascinating business. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked with teams to support farmers growing the raw commodities that become brewed or distilled products. While the value-added side is new, the industry is familiar. It completes the farm-to-table story I’ve been privileged to be a part of.”
Neil appreciates the customer-first approach of the AMH team, which mirrors Richardson’s own priorities.
“The AMH team is customer-centric and focused on operational excellence and reliability – much like Richardson. We are committed to our customers’ long-term success. Interactions with AMH staff have shown us that our goals and values are closely aligned, making this transition an exciting next step. In the coming weeks, I look forward to connecting with the great team here to see how much more we can achieve together.”
