Joining Crisp Malt in March 2021, Dan began as the Production Manager before transitioning to the Site Manager role in October 2023. With a career spanning over 22 years in manufacturing and 20 years in management roles across diverse industries, including Seafood, Chocolate, Windows and Doors, Feed Milling, and now Malting, Dan brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Dan thrives on the variety that each day brings in the malting industry, embracing the challenges and rewarding experiences it offers. A particular highlight is leading site tours for visitors and customers, which he finds both fulfilling and enjoyable.

When he’s not at work, Dan is a true crime enthusiast, with a special interest in the 1920’s through to the present day. Recently, he’s taken up running and is an avid cyclist, braving the elements to cycle to work year-round, rain or shine.

Always up for a challenge and eager to learn, Dan continues to grow in his role, leading the Great Ryburgh Maltings site with dedication and passion.
