Sarah Marshall is the Technical Sales Manager for Brewing at Crisp Malt, covering the Northeast of England and Scotland. With a degree in microbiology and biochemistry and an IBD brewing diploma, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She also has years of experience managing quality at Shepherd Neame, one of the UK’s largest and most renowned breweries, where she worked as both Lab Manager and Technical Brewer.
During her time in the industry, Sarah has witnessed a notable shift in drinking patterns, with a growing demand for new flavours and taste experiences. “The biggest change has been the adventurousness in drinking habits,” she notes. At Crisp Malt, Sarah leverages her technical expertise and industry experience to provide tailored malt solutions and technical support to breweries in her region. Her deep understanding of the brewing process, from quality control to recipe development, has made her a trusted advisor to brewers.
With her scientific background, practical experience, and passion for innovation, Sarah is a key figure in the brewing community in the Northeast of England and Scotland, and a great addition to the Technical team here at Crisp Malt.
