Torrefied Wheat is a versatile brewing adjunct that has long been used by brewers to provide additional head, enhance body, mouthfeel and foam stability without adding strong flavor or color on all beer styles.

The higher molecular weight proteins and glycoproteins are head positive and also promote mouthfeel. It is especially useful when base malts are particularly low in nitrogen/protein.

Pre-gelatinized through the torrefaction process, it can be added directly to the mash, making it an easy and effective way to improve texture and head retention across a wide range of beer styles.

Torrefied Wheat has a very slightly grain character to it.
