Rye Malt is a distinctive specialty malt, in brewing, when mixed with barley malt it delivers spicy grain character, subtle sweetness, improves head retention and enhances mouthfeel.

Known for its bold flavor contribution, introducing flavour changes of a toffee/caramel note at lower inclusion rates and a spicy after-palate at higher inclusion rates, it adds complexity and texture while maintaining a clean finish. Rye Malt brings a unique edge to both traditional and modern beer styles.

Most notably, Rye Malt can also impart a reddish hue to beers, perfect for brewing red beers or Roggenbiers.

*Rye Malt is higher in beta-glucans which can cause issues at higher rates. Recommend rice hulls.
