Stuart is a Sales Manager for the North East of England, Midlands and East Anglia and he joined the team in August 2021.
After graduating from the University of West of England with a BSc Biomedical Sciences, he went straight into working for the NHS in their laboratories including Histopathology and Microbiology. Stuart then moved into the Quality Assurance laboratories at Astra Zeneca.
After a career change to Arboriculture for a number of years, Stuart turned what he loved doing as a hobby (which he started in his uni days) to his job when he took over Howard Town brewery in the Peak District as owner, co-director and head brewer. One of his biggest projects was the expansion of the brewery from the fully manual 7BBL PBC electric brewery to steam full auto 25hec European MCV, Lauter brewhouse.
Stuart is experienced in running businesses and troubleshooting in brewing. He will be able to help his customers get the best out of the most basic to the most technical brewhouse and recipe development. He is also hands on with fixing stuff!
In his spare time, you will find Stuart near mountains and hills as he is a keen hill walker and mountaineer. He is training to be a Mountain Leader and he is also a qualified Ski Instructor.
