In order to really get to grips with the full flavour potential of your Crisp Malt samples, we recommend tasting them in the following ways…
Not the most complicated of processes but a great way to get a taste of what to expect. When chewing make sure you really get the flavour out – to do this chew the grains as much as you can – just like you were told to eat your dinner as a child!Between the different grains cleanse your palate with a good swish of water for flavour clarity.
Just like a good cup of tea, we recommend popping a teaspoon of cracked grains (can be cracked with a coffee grinder / pestle and mortar) into 200ml of boiling water for 2-3 mins (you can use a tea sieve if you prefer). Whilst the flavour will be less intensethan chewing, it will be longer lasting. Why not try combining a couple of malt types to see how their flavours work together?
We take sustainability very seriously, and want the environmental impact of sending out our malt samples to you to be minimised where possible. When putting together our sample packs, we needed the malts to keep fresh, to arrive with you in perfect condition, and very importantly, for the packaging to be 100% recyclable.
