Since 1870 we’ve lived and breathed malting. With this passion and expertise, and by combining traditional and modern techniques, we create an impressive range of malted and non-malted products, including several unique and exclusive barley malts.
We have a wide range of malts suitable for brewing and distilling to provide you with the foundations for creating your next beer or whisky.
From our traditional floor maltings to our state-of-the-art packaging line, all of our malts are processed by a team of skilled maltsters. Find out more about our different processes here.
Our team of maltsters and brewers have put together a number of different technical materials, from recipes to blog posts on conditioning, to assist you in your brewery or distillery. Find out more here in this section.
There is nothing more we love than talking to brewers and distillers so if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a call with a member of our team, please feel free to get in touch – we would love to hear from you!
Throughout the year, the Crisp NPD team will be developing new and exciting malts to launch as part of the Small Batch Series.
By their very nature, the malts will be available in limited supply. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Signing up will give you priority access to experiment with a unique crystal malt, roasted malt, base malt, specialty malt or cereal, and design your next award-winning beer or whisky.
We’ll send you news of a release via e-shot a week ahead of publicly announcing it. You can order it on the spot ahead of anyone else and ensure you get your hands on it before it sells out.
We’ll send out occasional questionnaires to collect feedback, but you don’t always have to wait for these. Contact the NPD team directly and tell us about your ideas straight away. The point of this concept is to innovate malts for YOU!
So, just tell us what you need, share your thoughts and let’s get to work.
We’ll tell you about the latest blog articles published on our past and present releases, to share the experiences of other members of the Small Batch Series club and to share how we developed the malts.
We’ll give you a platform to share your creations with others in the industry and inspire the next big beer trend!
