We work directly with almost 270 individual farms in Scotland. We know them and they know what each ﬁeld on their farm is capable of producing, so as the new crop rolls in we’re conﬁdent it will be the best barley Scotland has to oﬀer.
The ﬁnest quality barley is expertly malted at our Alloa and Portgordon Maltings by our team of experienced maltsters.
The malt is packaged, either whole or crushed, at our state-of-the-art bagging facility in Alloa; ensuring the malt arrives in the best condition possible.
The malt arrives at the brewery or distillery for mashing in order to convert starch into sugary wort. The starting point for creating your new and exciting beers and spirits.
