I achieved a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages and Literature and then went on to study an MBA at Leeds University. I always had an interest in international trade so having the language and business qualifications started my career working in export sales. I spent several years working in the steel industry in Yorkshire and then moved to Norfolk to work in an export sales and logistics role in the Equestrian industry, where I stayed for 20 years.
I chose to work at Crisp as the beer and distilling industries have always interested me but it was primarily due to the fact that the company exports to many different countries which appealed the most.
I like the sweet pale craft beers particularly those with the fruit flavours.
Outside of work I love travelling around Europe, country walks and hanging out in the pub with friends.
