We added a new speaker to the webinar roster; our very own Hannah Beer, Crisp’s technical lead. Hannah takes us through the basic malting stages; steeping, germination and kilning and Carl Heron will then be talking about the uses of the different base malts.
Hannah and Carl also discuss the production methods for specialty (roasted and crystal) malts at Crisp before addressing their uses in the brewing process and impact on flavour.
