Since joining Crisp Malt in May 2017, Jodie has played a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy alongside newer team member, Maddie. As Marketing Manager, Jodie is involved in all aspects of marketing, from events to digital initiatives and branding.
Jodie began her journey with Crisp Malt in the customer service team, processing both sack and bulk malt orders. She contributed to the company’s rebrand and gained valuable experience in planning malt batches for storage, packaging, and deliveries.
With a degree in law from the University of East Anglia, Jodie has a diverse background in business development and marketing. Prior to Crisp Malt, she worked in the DNA, drug, and alcohol testing industry, as well as at a local law firm.
What draws Jodie to this industry is its friendly and inclusive nature. She is particularly inspired by the unique branding and artwork created by brewers and distillers. As a proud Norfolk native, Jodie appreciates being surrounded by the crops that are transformed into malt for beer and whisky production.
When it comes to enjoying a brew, Jodie favors a refreshing lager, especially on a warm summer day in a beer garden. Outside of work, she enjoys running, watching football, walking her Labrador, and spending time at the seaside.
